Module 1: You will begin the course by attending the live Module 1 3.5-hour Zoom videoconference session 9:00am-12:30pm Pacific Time.

Modules 2 to 5: These eLearning courses are self-directed. You can complete them on any device with a Wi-Fi connection, although a laptop or desktop is recommended.

This was a well structured and well resourced course. The facilitator was very experienced, and the group sessions contributed to my learning.

I'm feeling much more prepared (compared to when I started the course) to navigate the topics of trauma and grief. I feel prepared to use practical skills/tools to facilitate groups in a way that honours traumatic grief.

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in creating a group and for those who already facilitate bereavement groups. The information, shared ideas and resources will be incredibly helpful and I truly appreciated the sense of community amongst those who attended. This can be isolating work at times and it was truly wonderful to share time with others who are just as passionate as I am about the importance of bereavement support services.
